When she is not chatting it up on 3Way with her best friend Chasta, Gianna is the TV-Traffic Reporter for 10News, in San Diego. Prior to that she worked in San Francisco, as a fill-in TV-Traffic Reporter and Producer at KPIX, CH-5.  Born and raised in San Diego, this former Miss San Diego County/Fairest of the Fair got the bug for broadcasting in high school, when she participated in a two-week scholarship program, sponsored by the CCNMA. After being awarded a scholarship, Gianna headed to college to study While in school, she began her broadcasting career at KPCC in Los Angeles and as a News and Traffic Reporter for Shadow Broadcasting. She then secured an internship with Access Hollywood that led to a full-time position as a News Writer for accesshollywood.com and NBCi. The opportunity led to reporting stints on the red carpet and celebrity interviews. From there she made a stop in Phoenix, as the Morning Traffic Reporter at KSAZ, and hosted and and produced a weekly magazine show that aired statewide on AZTV.

News and Traffic Reporter Gianna Suter Franco
Melting from the heat, she headed back to Los Angeles to work for Metro Networks as a News and Traffic reporter for stations such as KNX, KFWB, KROQ, and KTWV. While in Southern California, she co-hosted a top-rated morning show on WILD 96.1 F.M., this was also the time when Chasta and Gianna started broadcasting nationally on the CRN Network. She also parlayed her love of sports into a position as a National Sports Update Anchor for FOX Sports Radio. She has starred in and been featured in various national commercials and TV shows.

She loves to cook (a total foodie), travel, read, watch a great movie, plan events, decorate and sew. Most of her family and friends refer to her as the Mexican Martha Stewart, or the Chick of All Trades.  She also spends a great deal of time as a freelance writer for various internet sites, including the Examiner in San Diego. You can also check out her blogs at  blogspot.com

Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her mom, her nieces and nephews, and her  two stepkids -- compliments of her wonderful husband Pete Franco.  Gianna has reported on everything from Sports, News, Traffic and Entertainment and prides herself at being a responsible, realateable, journalist.
